How reviews are collected
The goal is a serious proof database, not a fake testimonial wall. Reviews arrive through the channels below and never carry a star rating until they are approved.
Sources
- On-site form: Users leave a review directly via /submit.
- Store reviews: Public reviews on the App Store, Google Play, Amazon and Etsy can be imported with a source link.
- Customer interviews / email: Feedback that is permitted and confirmed.
The flow
- A review arrives → status
unverified, dropped into the moderation queue. - Source and content are verified → an appropriate verification level is assigned.
- An admin reviews the content; spam, abuse and incentivised/fake content is removed.
- An approved real review is published → it receives a star rating, an average, schema and an indexable page.
Transparency
Positive and negative reviews are shown together. Drawbacks are not hidden. Sample / illustrative feedback is clearly labelled and excluded from ratings. The full policy is explained in the verification policy.
